I wanted to draw a picture that can make you feel. I wanted to draw a picture that focus on emotion rather than small, fussy, tidious details. I wanted to draw a picture that capture my sadness and tears of the past few months. I wanted to draw more LOTR fanart. Umm.. and yeah I wanted to draw Liv Tyler's lips.
Her tears are almost invisible in the reference screencap. I tried my best to make them more visible without looking fake. I also lighten up the area around her eyes to make her eyes and tears stand out (by 'lighten up' I means shading it lighter than what was shown in the reference).
I used the same watercolour paper as my last drawing. I like the grainy effect it gives eventhough it makes my shading looks rough and uneven in parts.
I used H, HB, B mechanical pencils and 7B, 8B, 9B wooden pencils. Nothing in between.
*Thanks for all the comments that helped me improve this piece of work. I really appreciate them and I've corrected a few parts that I missed the first time around. I'm quite happy with this drawing right now so no more change is gonna be made. Critiques are still welcome though.
