There you go.. I can't just leave the WIPs as my last deviations for long. Off to Thailand on Sunday so there won't be anymore drawing from me for al least another 2 months.
I always wanted to draw a picture with a skull in it so when I saw the ref I knew I wouldn't just draw simple smoke. I didn't use any direct ref. for the smoke and the skull but I did take a look at the smoke stock004 by =mross5013 for inspiration; [link] I decided to draw skin texture because the last time I tried my ass off to make the skin as smooth as possible I got accused of photo manipulating. I even used the drawing paper just so you don't have to use a magnifying glass to see the pencil strokes. When I saw Ben Barnes in Prince Caspian role I thought he's hot but since I'm not a fan of the movie I didn't feel like drawing him. I was so thrilled to know he got the leading role in the movie 'The picture of Dorian Gray', one of my fav gothic novels! Thought I always picture Dorian Gray in the book to be a pretty boy with blond hair I don't mind this darker, hotter version of him!  Ref. from acesshowbiz.com; [link] Copyright © Ealing Studios. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
