Artist's Comments

EDIT: A photo of the original drawing added, otherwise people wouldn't know where these 'details' are coming from.

I dedicate this to ~KudoHanyouMiko :iconkudohanyoumiko:
who's sent a note to request me nicely to post the close-up of some parts of this drawing.

And because I'm sick of all the "You photoshopped this!" comments.

Why do you all go gaga over the smooth shading? It's just a multi-layer blending on a smooth paper. It's far harder to draw Bruce Dickinson's scars[link] or Michael Phelps's wet skin [link] . The only reason you can't see much the pencil stroke on this one compare to my last 2 drawings is because I used a water colour paper in the last 2 drawings and I used the same paper I'd used with Padme [link] and Megan Fox [link] with this one.

WOW amazing close ups :D

If you have nothing nice to say... don't say anything at all (comment related not real life :P)

Don't worry about the "You photoshopped this!" comments. There will ALWAYS be someone who wishes they could draw like you, thinking that they don't need practice and hard work like you did. ;P

Take the photoshop comments as compliments, darling.

Honestly, I can't understand thos "It's photoshoped" comments. I mean, your drawing looks like a picture, but it DOES LOOK LIKE a drawing as well O_O

I think tHose people never saw a good piece made on pencil before ¬¬

For those of us who do draw, and know what it takes to draw this good or strive to draw this good we know it's all graphite and blending and hard work that goes into these works.

"As if you could outrun me! As if you could fight me off! Don't be afraid," he murmured, his velvet voice unintentionally seductive.

And just for the record, real vampires DO sparkle! :boogie:

That's what I thought too! I know I always tried to make the skin look smooth because the drawing'd look ugly if it isn't but I didn't try to blend away every other things. I always used the unblendable 8B Staedtler in the dark areas and the strokes were always visible.

Thanks so much for the support. It means a lot.

People are ridonkulous. It irritates me when I see that as a comment. I mean, hello?!?! Are you not paying attention?! Of course your work is impeccable, but it still looks like a drawing-which is fantastic :D But anyhoo, thanks for the close-ups! Always good to see and help out those working to improve their skills :)
